A Message from the CEO of
the Israeli-Druze Center
As an Israeli and a Jew, I strongly believe that now, more than ever, it is our duty to take proactive steps toward fostering a genuine connection with the Druze community in Israel.
We have readily accepted the contributions of the Druze people, offered to us with open hands and a generous spirit. In return, we have given them the Nation-State Law and the Kaminitz Law.
For years, most of us have not truly made the effort to understand the people behind the image of the brave Druze soldier risking his life on the battlefield or the warm and hospitable Druze host.
Regrettably, the words of Yehonatan Geffen’s "Ballad for the Druze," written fifty years ago, remain relevant to this day.
Upon assuming my role, I came to understand the depth of this gap and resolved to take action—removing barriers of unfamiliarity and fostering deeper awareness that opens both eyes and hearts.
This is an invitation to connect with us, subscribe to our direct communications, and stay updated on the initiatives of the Israeli-Druze Center. Together, we can build a genuine, reciprocal relationship that strengthens and unites our society.
